Welcome to our Family News page.
October 2008
This month has been a fun month for our family. Joseph started taking martial arts class. He started going twice a week and is now going three times a week since Daddy started teaching on Mondays. The kids in the class love having Tom as their teacher and he enjoys teaching them.
Jared has been busy taking out all his toys and scattering them all over the house. He has also been busy playing dress up with hats. He will take just about anything he can find and use it as a hat. It is really cute.
Rachel has been smiling much more now and talking so much. We now know that she will be quite the chatter box once she is able to talk. For the most part she is pretty content and happy.
Tom and Claudia had a great time decorating for Halloween and dressing up for it. As most of you already know, we love dressing up in themes. This year our theme was Peter Pan. Tom was Michael, Jared was Peter Pan, Joseph was one of the Pirates and Rachel was Tinker Bell, Claudia was going to be Wendy, but her costume did not turn out how she expected so she didn't dress up. She promises to be a better sport next year.
We have also been involved in showing our support for California's Proposition 8. Claudia was involved in making phone calls to California registered voters and sharing information on Prop. 8. Tom helped to distribute written information on Prop 8 by going door to door on the last Saturday of the month along with other members of our ward. We have also helped by waving signs at a street corner and at the park.
Even though we have been pretty busy this month Tom has still found time to work on his novel. He is very excited and had the opportunity to travel up to San Quintin to do some research for his novel. Check out his blogs for more information on his trip. Claudia has also found time to continue working out and eating healthy.
Life is great! How grateful we feel to have you all as our family and friends. We love you and miss you. Check back for more updates.
